While I’m more or less on the subject, I thought I’d dig up some photos from the Festa Junina at Carolina’s school, Escola Parque, this year. The idea is to dress in a sort of tacky country style, and she fit right in with her colorful skirt one size too small, fake freckles and pigtails. There was a forró band to play country polkas, and a “bumba-meu-boi” to boot.
